battlefield has no story what i recommend is buy battlefield 2 complete pack from origins for $5 then go and get 2142 after that play the bad company series and reserve and buy BF3
Battlefield 2 is nowhere near as good as Battlefield 3 but it's a start.
What i recommend to you is get the following games in the next few months if you can : Battlefield Bad Company 2 , Battlfield 2, Battlefield 1943.
Those are 3 different types of Battlefield games and you will surely like one or maybe even love all of them!
That will give you everything that battlefield has to offer!

How do you increase ping while playing battlefield 2 online?
in battlefield 2 when i play online i get kicked by the server because my ping is so low i get about 30 -40 ping max 50 so i get kicked . can anyone help me .How do you increase ping while playing battlefield 2 online?
You get kicked for high ping not low, low is good, high is bad. High Ping kicks are usually set around 150-200.

Hi, I really need help with how to install this collection on to Windows 7 correctly. The game/games are brand new, yet when I try to join a server on Battlefield 2 Special Forces, it kicks me and says that my cd key is invalid...but the game is brand new!!

You should then be able to install the booster packs and then you have to install the 1.41 patch again.
