How do you download mods for pc games?

i will give 5 points to anyone that tells me the exact instruction step by step on how to download this mod. also do i click open or save when the thing pops up?How do you download mods for pc games?
Hit download, click run, wait for it to download. once it's done, double-click it and install it into your BF2 mods folder. Once done, start/restart BF2 and go to community button %26gt; custom games %26gt; WTF mod nuke em' and press start.

EDIT: You should be able to find the .exe file on your desktop.

I no longer have my BattleField:BadCompany 2 VIP code how can I get it Back (PLEASE READ)?
I bought the game a little after it first came out used so I had to buy the VIP code and I have not played it in awhile and since then my PS3 file was erased on my Console so I made a new account and recovered my PSN username and now when I go to play the game online again I don't have the VIP codes(unlocks new Maps) and If I look at my transaction records on my PSN account it say's I purchased it. Do I need to some how recover them?

1. Log on
2. Go to Account Management
3. Go to Transaction Management
4. Go to Download List
5. Click on the item you want to redownload

You can't play Crysis 2/BF3 at maxed settings (AA enabled). I own a 6970 which is (by far) a better card than a 550ti and I'm unable to play Crysis 2 at maxed settings at a playable FPS. Crytek released a DX11 patch which I'm referring to. You can easily play the original DX9 console port at maxed settings but not DX11.
I don't own BF3 but I can imagine you can't max out the settings for that game either since its DX11 and looks extremely graphic intense. You have a nice PSU and a good CPU but your GPU is average for a gamer.
You will need either a 570 or 580 to play close to maxed settings (570 will be laggy but 580 should be playable). I would return the 550ti if I were you and upgrade to either one or the other mentioned above (if gaming w/maxed eye candy is your objective). If you don't mind the AMD equivalent you should get a 6950 (closer to a 560ti) or a 6970 (closer to a 570).
